Rosé 2023

Vineyard

The Pinot Noir grapes for our 2023 Rosé were chosen from three unique sites: Block 523, adjacent to our winery, Block 595, nestled at the base of the Santa Lucia Mountains, and a select contribution from Mar Ranch, to the south of Edna Ranch. Each site contributes distinct characteristics to the final blend.

Winemaking

Echoing the techniques used for fine white wines, our 2023 Rosé was whole cluster pressed and cold settled at 48 degrees for two days. The juice was fermented in 100% stainless steel tanks and then aged for five months in stainless steel, ensuring the freshness and vibrancy were maintained.

Nose: Clean, youthful aromas of cherry, watermelon, strawberry, and tangerine, complemented by notes of lily and rose water

Palate: Dry, medium-bodied with flavors of blood orange, melon, and plum accented by bright acidity
