Bien Nacido Vineyard Chardonnay Santa Maria Valley 2023
Bien Nacido Vineyard is the most famous grower for California Chardonnay. This site is punctuated by mild sunny days, an afternoon sea breeze, and a marine layer to moderate the temperature of the vines. The specific location of the W block is one of the oldest and windiest parts of the vineyard. The vines are planted on limestone and shale outcroppings. The wine's minerality perfectly accompanies the hallmark tropical notes and bright acidity.
Poletti- Edna Ranch Chardonnay San Luis Obispo Coast 2023
The Poletti section of our estate vineyard, Edna Ranch, is located along the mountainside slopes of Edna Valley and home to block 569, which historically has been a reserve block of Chardonnay, featuring own-rooted Tepesque Chardonnay vines. The vineyard lies in the direct path of the cool wind from the Pacific. This Chardonnay encapsulates Edna Valley, with a refined palate structure and an uplifting acidity that stands out on the finish.
Apex Vineyard Pinot Noir Santa Lucia Highlands 2023
Farmed by the Franscioni family, Apex Vineyard is located 28 miles from the cold water of Monterey Bay. The vineyard is planted above the fog line, receiving ample afternoon sunshine and producing a grape profile with a more prominent tannin structure, while the daily fog and ocean breezes contributes to an acidity hard to miss on the finish.
Drum Canyon Vineyard Pinot Noir Sta. Rita Hills 2023
Drum Canyon Vineyard thrives in the eminent Sta. Rita Hills AVA. The region is famous for its oblique mountain range which allows the coastal breeze and fog to cool the vines. The vineyard possesses steep hillsides on challenging terrain. As a result, the terroir produces wines with intensity, featuring the signature acidity of the Sta. Rita Hills AVA.
El Coro Vineyard Pinot Noir Petaluma Gap 2023
El Coro vineyard is farmed by the Keller family and located within the Petaluma Gap AVA, the premier gateway to the Sonoma Coast. The “Gap” is a wind gap that allows the maritime wind and fog to roar into the region. The vineyard consists of a 20-acre block planted on the highest point of the Keller estate at 500 feet of elevation. The terroir consists of clay loam soils and gravelly volcanic subsoil.
Gunsalus Vineyard Pinot Noir Green Valley of Russian River Valley 2023
This gem of a vineyard resides at an elevation of 242 feet in the Green Valley, capturing the maritime fog after it passes through the Petaluma Gap and then lingers the longest, resulting in this AVA being the coolest, foggiest part of the Russian River Valley and a Pinot Noir haven. Garnet in color, with aromas of strawberry and rose petal. Bright red fruit flavors linger on the palate with gentle mouth-coating tannins.
Mindego Ridge Vineyard Pinot Noir Santa Cruz Mountains 2023
Mindego Ridge Vineyard is perched at an elevation ranging from 675 to 935 feet on the south facing, shale laced slopes of the Santa Cruz Mountains AVA. Surrounded by redwoods, the vineyard consists of 40 acres with 10 acres planted to Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Only 8 miles from the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay, the grapes experience a cool mesoclimate where altitude and marine influence come together to moderate California's late season heat spikes, resulting in a regally impressive Pinot Noir.
Solomon Hills Vineyard Pinot Noir Santa Maria Valley 2023
Solomon Hills Vineyard takes its name from Salomon Pico, a celebrated bandit who travelled along the El Camino Real in the 1850s. This vineyard is located at the westernmost end of the Santa Maria Valley AVA. Not only does the vineyard have a view of the sand dunes, but the wine's expressive aromatics flourish from the sandy soils.
